Alfred du Plessis has been a university graduate since 1993, working in the field of education since 1995. Starting as an educator in human movement sciences he has developed his passion to engage with people as a mentor in life skill coaching. During his career Alfred has worked in most domains of education including the primary, secondary and tertiary levels as educator, phase head, deputy principal and lecturer at the University of Pretoria.

On a personal level Alfred is married and is the father of a daughter and two sons. He loves the outdoors, sport and being in nature.

As a registered psychologist with the Health Professions Counsel of South Africa, Alfred continues to impact the lives of people in his professional capacity as an independent practitioner. He values a professional relationship that empowers the client. He specializes in guiding learners of all ages to develop their full potential and intervenes where there are emotional, behavioural and academic challenges. (See services)
